ADC PARTY

 ADC PARTY

NOTICE TO ALL ADC MEMBERS.

Dear Members,

Today’s council election in Abuja exposed a serious gap in our grassroots work. Many elderly voters came out ready to vote, yet they were still asking which logo belongs to ADC. That should not be happening.

ADC is a growing party, but growth does not happen by chance. It requires deliberate effort from every one of us.

Our logo must become familiar to the people, especially at the community level. If voters cannot easily identify our symbol on the ballot, we are losing support we should naturally gain.

From now on, every member must take responsibility for promoting the party identity.

Talk to people in your streets, mosques, churches, markets, and social gatherings. Explain clearly what ADC stands for and make sure they can recognize our logo without confusion. Do not assume people already know  many do not.

Mobilization is not only during campaign periods. It is continuous engagement. A rising party must be visible, audible, and understood.

Let us be intentional. Let us sell the party with confidence, clarity, and consistency.

Together, we can strengthen ADC from the grassroots upward.

Thank you.

Signed

Hon.Edegbe Sunday

Today news

 Former Vice president of Nigeria

Alh Atiku Abubakar

I am deeply moved by the tragic attacks in Adamawa State, where gunmen killed over 20 people in a market in Madagali and Hong local government areas.

The attack not only highlights the worsening insecurity in the country but also deepens the North-East crisis.

I urge the authorities to redouble their efforts to address this menace, ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice, and strengthen security to prevent future attacks. -AA

Former Vice President of Nigeria and chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku Abubakar, has raised a grave alarm over the disgracefully low voter turnout recorded in Saturday’s FCT Area Council elections.

Reacting to the exercise, the former Vice President described the turnout, which averaged below 20 per cent, with the Abuja Municipal Area Council recording a shocking 7.8 per cent as a damning verdict on the health of Nigeria’s democracy under the current administration.

Iran supreme leader Khamenei, daughter, grandchild killed in US-Israel strikes

Iran supreme  Khamenei, daughter, grandchild killed in US-Israel strikes

Iranian media has confirmed the killing of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s supreme leader, following a barrage of missile strikes orchestrated by Israel and the United States on Saturday.

Khamenei’s daughter, grandchild, daughter-in-law and son-in-law were also killed in the military operation.

Debate over whether Khamenei was indeed among those killed in the joint operation raged across the world late Saturday, with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu choosing his words carefully when he said “there are many signs the supreme leader is no longer with us”.

The Supreme Leader of Iran Has Reached Martyrdom,” state broadcaster IRIB reported on Sunday morning.

“This great scholar and mujahid (fighter) sacrificed his life to lift Iran… and he is in the grand presence of martyrs above,” Mehr, the state affiliated news outlet, said.

Iran has announced 40 days of mourning for Khamenei.

US President Donald Trump had previously announced Khamenei’s death in a Truth Social post.

In an earlier broadcast on the operation, Trump had said he is pursuing regime change in Iran, asking the “Iranian people to take back their country”.
